Sorry if this topic has been done before.

We have just had our renewel for the family cart (Honda Frv) come in at £185.00.

I remember paying £1400 PA for a crusty rover 10 years ago.

One of the benefits of getting old I spose...(I'm 31)

So......What is the most you have/are paying.?

You're going to need to adjust for currency. Especially in the last few years.

£1700, 2003 , Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Saloon.

Got it for £20 off the back of a recovery wagon. Immense.

I've definitely paid over £1500 in the past, but I can't remember what car or when. However now I'm paying £872 full comp on my Noble AND it includes my 19 year old daughter on a Citroen C1 in her own name but on a multicar policy. So she picks up the no claims and everything else that comes with being insured in her own name. That, I reckon is a good deal, as I expected more just for her on her car let alone a Noble.

£185 at 31? Where do you live? I pay £700 on a diesel Volvo and I'm 30 this year.
Most I have paid was £1700 on a 1.1 AX when I was 19, in 2003.
Least is £550 on a 230bhp Saab 9000.

So most expensive was my least powerful car and cheapest was my most powerful. Thanks Mr.Insurance, that makes perfect sense!

£2500 for a Sapphire with modded 2.1 Pinto at 17. After a few brushes with the law, got a 2 door 1.3 Escort and managed to shave a whole £400 off my premium. Young folks get it tough and I'd hate to be that age again. Every penny was hard to come by and if I hadn't been living with my parents, I would have been driving some deathtrap stbox Corsa instead.

£1338 plus a box of misery (couldn't justify an extra £700 to avoid it) on a 1.4 Fiesta, since it is my first car £1338 is also the least I have paid for car insurance!
