I'm getting my wheels refurbed next week and I'm planning a drive out the following Sunday.

Does powder coat take a bit of time to harden (like fresh paint) or is it good to go from the off?

Thanks

It's baked in an oven to harden it, so once they are back on the car they are fully finished. If that wasn't the case they'd not be able to put the tyres back on.

Just make sure the hub/wheel mating surfaces are clear of any powder coating, seen many that are still painted, and it did result in one loose wheel.

Just make sure you recheck the torque levels on the nuts/bolts - I usually recheck at 50 miles and if they needed a nip up I recheck them another 50 miles down the road - nice and settled then smile
