Basically, I am canvassing the PH people for opinions.

I test drove a alfa romeo mito quadrifoglio verde today, I quite liked it.

What opinions do the members of PH have to say about this car?

So long as you liked it do you really care what others think?

Life's too short to be concerned with the opinions of others when it comes to cars.

Utter nonsense. It's called researching a purchase.

This all day long, some will say its rubbish, some will say its brilliant, some will have the worlds finest opinions despite never having driven one, there is a dedicated section on Alfaowner for the Mito.

Agree with this aswell, I often ask for opinions just to see what other people would spend the same money on, but at the end of the day you might like a car someone else doesn’t, that's why manufacturers make so many variations on a theme. I say if you like it go for it mate, don't be a sheep haha.

Strangely enough, if you go on the News forum and ask what people think of Bob Crow, you'll get 10 pages in 5 minutes with people telling you in no uncertain terms what they think.

By the way, I think Alfa are the one mainstream producer that builds good looking, desirable cars. Reliability might be mediocre and resale value a bit iffy, but if I had the money, I'd buy one. I think that for the "normal" driving that most of us do, it would preform well too. My parents had an Alfasud ti back in the 80s. I learned to drive in it and I loved it.

If I was ever in the market for a Supermini the Mito would be top of the list. Don't know anything about the 4 cheese version, just a regular one in red would do me.

Good looking car and I like the fact you don't see too many around. I actually went to look at one when they first came out and was seriously interested. Dealer promised to call me about a test drive, never did, and I ended up buying something else.

Might be worth paying a visit to the following (although responses may be a little biased):

Good luck.
