If its a bolt on kit then is there a need to drop the comp ratio?
If you need to then its not really a bolt on kit is it and anything goes.
Have engine out and stripped due to head gasket issues as it turns out. Measured actual CR and it's 9.3:1 [with head skim 27cc so standards 'aint, they nearer 8.9:1 whatever it says on the block] Didn't want to drive around on a 'maybe it's ok' if kept to low boost. Still looking at a turbo build but whatever happens it will be balanced, lightened flywheel etc, Just have to make right decision whilst getting impatient IYSWIM If you need to then its not really a bolt on kit is it and anything goes.

Eann installed mine and I cant recommend him enough. There is a surprising amount of work involved and he turned it round in a week for me. That included a megasquirt installation.
