Let down by bible - shock!!

The battery on my 93 griff 500 has become u/s.

The bible said it was bolted through the floor and could be slid forward, NOT on mine !!

I sits in a box that unbolts from inside the footwell with a cover that has short pieces of cable connecting it to the outside of the sealed box.
And it is very difficult to get the battery past all the looms !!!

Has anyone else got one of these type fittings??

Thats the early style. I converted mine to box on floor - battery is heavy so lowered CofG + moved Fuse box higher so should be drier... Easier to get at battery as well...
