Heads up reminder for tonights show.

Hope they will feature the 918 and Ferrari this season and i have 2 questions :-

1. Which of the 3 hyper cars do you think will lap the quickest ?

2. Which of the 3 do you WANT to lap the quickest ?

To answer my own question i go for the Porsche both times.

Should be a good watch tonight.

I'd imagine McLaren have not allowed it to be showed with the other two infact the Porsche and Ferrari will not be in the series at all else would have been in the trailer.

Remember the One-77 never shown on Top Gear and doubtful if it ever will.

I get irritated with cars that don't carry a full size spare.

I won't be watching.

I have two children so it's totally impractical...for this reason I shall watch something else.

What will be interesting is if they let them time it on the TG track...be very disappointing if they didn't. They might get let loose on a 918 at some stage as they aren't sold out.

I hope the fannying around and celeb nonsense are edited down to five minutes, so the rest of the program can be pure P1 porn.

No chance that will happen.

La Ferrari ain't gonna be seen for ages it seems.

The 918 will probably be on there in the next series...possibly alongside ANOTHER 911 derivative with Hammond acting like a prize goon :-)

P1, Fezza, 918 - in that order - I reckon the extra weight of the 918 will hurt it on a tight track, and the P1 is at home at Dunsford.

I'll only watch it for the P1, the rest of it will be the usual pantomime. Last weeks programme was pathetic.

Bloody hell, your brave criticising. Do you know that the show is sacred and you will be burned in a wicker Clarkson by the PH TG Mafia for daring to mention you didnt think it was as good as a previous episode :-)

Agree 100% last week was worst ever top gear.
Why try and buy 80s hot hatches for £800.
Splash a couple of grand and show how much fun they could be.

Top gear makes passions run high on here. I've read that each series they make one dedicated car fan show. I make that about right. The hot hatch thing last week would have been so much better had they used mint examples and not been stupid, but then it wouldn't appeal to 10'year olds

The whole point of buying them at that price is so they can smash them up in the name of comedy.

But is it?

Well probably never know as McLaren will not allow it to be tested fully against them.
