When I was looking there were plenty on ebay that were 25mm.

Be wary about the eBay items. I bought one of the 25mm deep and typical Chinese quality so had to return it for a refund. I'd say only buy on recommendation from somebody else and ensure 100% metal (the one I was sent was part plastic and not obvious from the auction photo's)

I also bought an ebay 25mm deep one and I'm quite happy with it.

Part of the trim is plastic but the locking mechanism is all metal, the boss clicks in securely and there is no play once it's locked in place.

Clearly it may not have been the same one as described above so you still need to take care as always when buying from ebay.

Just fitted one on these on my GT40 seems great quality and a very positive action, not used it properly though as car not finished....

My Fury has one of those fitted and at 9yrs old now, it's an excellent bit of kit - seating and locking is very positive, the ball clutch has remained tight and you cannot pull it free without using the release collar, there's absolutely no play in the mech and not once has it 'accidentally' come loose either. About as good as it gets.

ETA: since my car is open, I sprayed the release boss black to make it totally none-obvious. No-ones pinched the wheel yet...

Deffo dont want a sloppy one would rather pay good money for a good kit

That other kit looks good would have to find a good welder though
