First trackday of the year booked for the 15th of March at Oulton Park to put the race car through its paces to see what falls off. Got to get to grips with its new aggressive gio setup, run in the rebuilt gear box, and generally get reacquainted with it It's on a Saturday so if any of my mates want to come along then please feel free! I've booked a garage so if the weather is a bit rough, there is some shelter. We are taking the motor home too so no shortage of brews and bacon butties smile

Anybody else fancy it?

Yeah, I thought about that but track days seem a bit few and far between at oulton especially on a Saturday. I'll take my chances.

Booked it thumbup
As the Archbishop has noted, it looks like it's the last Saturday TD at Oulton before the season starts.
The weather on Sat was bad which may have reduced the queues , Mr Seery did well to get the V8 Westy home in one piece - not the best climate for trying out a new race car.
He kindly offered me a run in it, but my buttocks and his race seat had a difference of opinion concerning dimensional acceptability.

Just to clarify. Darren could not fit his rather large Derriere into my seat. He did comment that he hasn't got the hips of an Italian waiter like the rest of us, who had no problem fitting in the seat.

May be at Oulton on the 15th but only if its dry.

lol...Dot said if you want bacon butties then bring your own bread and bacon and your welcome to use the frying pan whenever you want because she's not spending the day cooking for a load of hungry race drivers. rofl
