BMW m5 warranty and after market exhaust

Ok I have owned my e60 m5 for exactly 2 years now I've just renewed the warranty at BMW/ mondial at a cost of £95 per month on the rolling month scheme , what are your thoughts and experience of adding a cat back exhaust system, or am I better of contacting them and geting it in print

If it's the BMW Insured Warranty then the exhaust isn't covered anyway, so if you changed it you shouldn't have any issues except if the dealers want to make it an issue in case of a warranty claim. Plenty of CSL's running around with exhaust mods and warranties and no claim issues.

If it's AUC warranty that has been extended then the exhaust is covered iirc.

But ring Mondial to check to be on the safe side.

It's a renewal of my 2 year auc warranty that I got at the time of purchase ,it actually starts on 17th when my 2 year runs out,so will it just void exhaust warranty or the whole shebang

Have had H&S back boxes on my E61 and the dealer complimented me on the sound! Can't see any scenario where the exhaust after the cat could affect the warranty.
