Off champagne ?

Scratching my head over this one. Bought some Bollinger NV recently, loved every sip. Stocked up and bought a case from a different shop and the other night i opened my first bottle. To my shock it tasted terrible ... Just really really acidic, not much else flavour wise and pretty much undrinkable. Its not corked as ive had corked wine before and its a diffferent effect. So either its fake (unlikely !) or completely buggered in some way. Can anyone shed any light ?

I find Bollinger massively acidic whenever I've had it. I can't recall the exact bottle/vintage etc but that was my experience everytime. I tend to choose something else if that is all that's available.
