Sat here in a bar on a mountain en France with a little too many verre du vin inside me and I find myself reflecting on the fact that I used to own an Aston. I don't at the moment and feel the I NEED to again. The search begins once I get home drunk

I did give it a title but it seems that it wasn't included in my post! To misquote Mike Myers in Wayne's world "it will be mine, oh yes...it will be mine"

This thread is absolute drivel and mindless banter.

Steve, please pass phone/iPhone/tablet/pc (delete as appropriate) to Louisa....

Dear Louisa,

Hope you are keeping well.
Would be grateful if, on behalf on the whole forum, you could tell your lesser half to MTFU and get one bought.
Thanks in advance,

T and M

I realise you're probably mashed by now Steve but if you can stay away from the face-painter for just a few more minutes we can all help you out smile.

Let us know what you are after car/year/spec wise and we can scan the classifieds and get some options lined up for when you return..

Steve, ditch the German machinery and get something quintessentially British that doesn't always work properly but is always fun.

Buying V12Vs seems to be the current trend. Common as muck round here smile

Not sure if Steve's DB9V was a TT2 or Manual, but I'm thinking it was a manual.

Therefore surely the next step needs to be...

The C63 has gone already, drove down here in the disco on summer tyres and the Aston was so much better in snow on Sottozero's last year

I honestly believe you won't lose money on a manual DBS Volante, so few of them there are.

Saying that, the interior makes The Toms Tandoori Express look restrained wink

I really like that, would be a nice upgrade for me. Except for that thing sticking out of the centre console frown
