I'm just in the process of fitting the handbrake cables on my build and would like to fit new ends in the process of shortening the cable to avoid the ugly u bolt way suggested. Can anybody direct me in the direction of a company who can undertake this.
Thanks
Phil

Depends what design the ends are.
If they are a simple crimp then your local yacht chandler may be able to help.

The alternative is 'Speedy Cables' who sadely are far from Speedy.

I made my own 'clamp-on' nipples and end ferrules when I shortened my cables for the UVA.

If you need threaded adjusters on the end you could use these from the VW cable shortening kit.

If you're not happy with clamp on fittings you could silver solder them in place. I have done that in the past.

These guys may be able to help:-
http://www.tecni-cable.co.uk/
or http://www.venhill.co.uk/

Haven't used the former but Venhill have been helpful in the past.
Cheers, Pewe.
