My first real "ask" in the wedge space :-)

Being a tall chap at 6'6" I can fit in the wee beastie but only just.......I've plenty of room around the steering wheel for my legs and no issues with the pedals but I am sat too high and too far forward (I guess I have a long body)

As nice as the red leather seats are I may look to change them for something like this below, a GRP fixed back seat with a red leather pad (to keep the red / black theme in the car)...... they are really thin, I can fix them directly to the floor so have maximum space, I know they are non original but neither is the rest of the car so no issues there lol

Before I go down this road I thought I'd see if others have reviewed the seat options, other suggestions welcome

Clearly if I do change them I may have some seats going spare ;-)

Hi Mate...First i would check to see if the seats that are in there at the moment are on any sort of riser/Spacer, They are not original Wedge seats by the look of them..(Ford RS)..I believe.

You may be ok in a pair of original seats as there are some tall guy's on here...Maybe sit in another Wedge with Wedge seats to see...If the Wedge seats are okay then i may have a set spare once i have fitted the Chimaera ones.....Ziga

Lotus Elise seats do tend to give you more headroom, but not as much comfort.
Where did you find the black race seats, please? I like the look of the ones you have shown.
Do try them before you buy them - I am not being rude, but at 6 ft 6, unless you are a skinny runt you could have width issues, as race seats don't flex. I am a 35 inch waist, 6 footer......and one inch more and i simply wouldn't have got in them. On Saturday two friends of mine, one 6 ft 3 and one 6 ft 7, neither of them in any way overweight, failed to get into my passenger seat.

The seat have just the runner and no spacers / packers. I guess I could just loose the runner for an inch drop but as the rear seat back is quite padded i do feel like it needs reclining more but can't due to the car body being in the way

They are just the standard 15" ones from a 350 painted black with polished spokes and rims. I bought them off Carob.

Hi Glen, Karl also used to make these bezels as well as the gear knob too, again if your ask on here someone might know if these can still be sourced.

Right, I think I'm sorted.......this chap will even tap it to whatever tread size (M8 in my case) and length I need (45mm in my case)

Bit pricey at £15 though lol, am seeing if he'll do me a handbrake as well

Yup he's making me a matching bespoke handbrake to ky dimension as well, bargain at £35 for both items.

If anyone wants his details just PM me

On the seat front I think I've finally decided on the black GRP seats with red leather pads. Ordering tonight

So my seats "will" be going spare ;-)
