The "Foodspotting" App / Website - any users on PH?

Just a curious enquiry really but as a fan of the Foodspotting app as well as the threads on here where people share their food images (home and dining out) I was wondering if anyone else is a user?

There doesn't seem to be as much coverage in the UK as elsewhere but I find the app quite interesting when in new locations to see what sort of food is available and how it looks / how people rate it. I've had a few decent meals on the back of finds on there and been to a few new places that I wouldn't have known about otherwise in the UK and abroad.

I'm being selfish and trying to increase the user base now for my own use - http://www.foodspotting.com

In addition to just finding places there are also some really great food photographers on there and it's interesting to see what dishes people have available around the world too.

Or perhaps I just need to stop being a glutton and get a proper hobby?

Whilst I'm happy to practice my photography and cooking skills in my own home, I find the thought of taking a picture of a plate of food in a restaurant a little bit horrifying for some reason.

I use Instagram for this sole purpose. Not for social networking but to share ideas and take inspiration for cooking from around the world.

It is a great platform from which to do this.

I appreciate this, it's certainly something that divides opinion, I just try to do it in a way that means nobody else sees what I'm doing, a dirty 'secret' hobby if you like.
