Aldi "man aisle" strikes again

Got caught in the man aisle in Aldi again, and found a few things that seem decent for the home spannerist, so thought it might be of interest

Inspection tool kit (mirror on an adjustable elbow attached to a long extendable stick, magnet on a long extendable stick with LED light at the end and a magnetic parts tray) - £4.99 - invaluable if you're as cack handed as me and drop things into engine bays constantly!

Hex key set (set of long allen keys with a handle they can slot into) - £4.99

Workwear fleece (it's not the thickest but feels nice and it's going to get dirty so doesn't need to be special) - £9.99

Electrical crimping tool set with loads of connectors - £4.99 (handy for repairing wiring etc)

Precision screwdriver with 8 or so bits and room in the handle to store them (so many of these sets don't have storage so you end up losing the bits) - £1.99

I do like an Aldi mooch, the shopping is only cheaper if you dont spend £7.99 on some chisells and £12.99 on a torch, which actually isnt very good.

Amongst the ste I've bought there I must say the torque wrench has lasted well, £12 well spent

got one of those in my ever expanding toolkit - the ratchet spanners are good too (about a third of the price of Halfords ones, although no lifetime guarantee they are decent quality)

They had infra red laser temperature readers the other day... Only been used as a cat toy so far.

One of the most useful tools bought from Aldi was some short series metric combination spanners the are around 3-4" long & really useful in tight spaces. Also a long LED inspection lamp with a rechargeable battery built in. Really useful & wasn't a lot of money.

Nope it was around 15" long & a flat panel on the side with 60or so white LEDs on. It was around a tenner as I remember. This one!

I bought a digital micrometer from Aldi, it doesn't get that much use TBH.

I got my 1st trolly jack from the man isle last week, £25, 3 year guaranty 2 ton lift. just need so axle stands now as I wouldnt go under without.

Indeed, and their compressor has served me well for several year's now, always have a mooch once a week for anything useful

What's the jack like? My cheapo Halfords one is showing it's age and will need replacing soon. It never quite lifted high enough either.
