New way to open a jammed boot

If, after say a 5 hour trip back from work through snow etc you find that your house keys are in your laptop bag which has shifted ontop of your suitcase in the boot and jammed the gas strut so you can't get into your boot, I've just discovered a neat little trick to free it up.

Donuts in the local supermarket's carpark. Threw the latop off the strut and the boot quite happily popped open.

Scared the sh1t out of the local kids who were there on their 50cc scooters who I think weren't expecting me to be on their patch doing that..
