Spotted this M&S van this morning on the M4, just wondering what I'm supposed to do with this information? In case it isn't clear the sign says 'This vehicle is fitted with image recording technology'. I mean will they call the cops and report me if I overtake at above 70 mph? Is it only to deter thieves? Can't think what the purpose of this is! Thoughts?

It's a bit of a mistranslation, they have videos for traffic shunts etc, and picked a picture of a speed camera because they are too stupid to know the difference.

They won't be measuring speed or doing anything like that, just someone used the icon for a speed camera to mean "dash cam"

Dashcam surely? Idea to protect against useless s crashing into them and thus increasing insurance costs.

Useless s driving behind them taking pics on mobile phones?! hehe Could well be a dash cam but dont know why they would feel the need to advertise it, seems a bit 'big brothery'

Yep, one man crew and many many bottles of vino. When you see them parked up with the doors open the local young team always take an interest.
