LS inlet manifold removal

I need to take mine off, do the fuel rails and injectors come off with it?

Any gaskets to worry about?

If you can access the retaining bolts then you can leave the rails and injectors in situ. The plenum has individual gaskets on each port runner but they won't break when you lift the plenum.

I can get to the bolts, thanks for your help.

I need to clean the inside of the manifold so I guess I should pull the injectors out. Is that straightforward?

Yes. Once the rails are unscrewed the whole lot just pulls off the inlet.

It is straight forward. A couple of bolts hold the Fuel Rail down and the Injectors held in place with a small clip on each. Just make sure the Injector clips are properly seated when re-assembling.

44 in/lbs 1st pass, 89 in/lbs 2nd pass. Note that these are INCH pounds.

Start in the middle working outwards, alternating sides.
