Is this the norm?

I've had the 500 for well over a year now and there are a couple of things that I take for granted and put them down to the 'qwikiness' of TVR, but I was thinking today, are they normal and the same on all Chimaeras?

Do the electric window switches remain powered when the ignition is off?

Does your radio/CD/Cassette only work when the ign' is fully on, i.e. not in first position of the ign' switch?

None of the above are probelsms, as such, I'm just curious.

I guess the windows being live all the time is useful for droping the hood on sunny days, saves you putting the keys in!

Windows ditto. But my radio also works without the ignition on.

It has the vauxhall set up which has no ACC position so the radio can only work all the time or ignition full on.
