On here is obviously BEST but I have used http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/ a few times for free with success and none of the time wasters/ silly calls.
Hope you are only selling so you can buy a green one !! smile

I presume you mean a Griff, surely not a Chim there just magnificent.
I used to stand and just look at the S2 more than the Chim!

The extra power of the V8 is nice but I hardly use it!
S2's are far to under rated.

Oh I thought the smilie was frustration, its actually a sad face.

Are you having intermittent stop start as I chased elec/ stepper problems when I first owned it! After fuel pump/filter/ regulator and all electrics replaced I eventually bought a new stepper and all solved, doh.

I only use Pistonheads. IMHO - Pistonheads delivers people who generally know what they are looking for and understand the values of the car they are looking to buy. I've found that the other classic car sites don't get enough traffic. And Autotrader is full of time wasters in my experience or people who just don't know what they are looking at. It's probably better for selling a normal family hatch back.

I've never use eBay - one of my colleagues swears by it though. But he likes old cheap cars, and believes in something called Bangernomics !

Shame you have to sell your car - looks like a beauty. Has something else caught your eye ?

I think Tell's looking at Chims! He'll have to spend a bob to get one as good as the S2. I spent a fortune on that car only a couple of years ago! GGP's and all sorts..
Freaking miss it. Tell look at my car on profile!
Fancy a swap but you'll have to have large pockets for my monster lol
Don't pm me as I can't get access.

Can you get the V8 into the S2 and leave the dials and dash as is?

Is it only me but I used to think the back end looks a bit Dino ,,,, ish. Round rear lights and it would look fantastic!

Hi Guys
Thanks for your comments ,
Yes I am toying with the idea of going over to 'the dark side' eek
Have seen a couple of cars within my price range but that would depend on what I got for my S2 and how quick I can sell (anyone know someone looking) ?
Must say you make it harder to do so with all your good points but don't think my back can take to many long drives bounce
Regards
Terry

Is there a problem with your seat that you're getting back ache? Might be easier & cheaper to sort the seat out than changing?
