There was an article about these in a recent Evo magazine. Not the present one but the one before that I think. It was looking at the lineage from the 959 to GT1 to Carrera GT to 918.

I don't know about the car or the dealer, but those photos are very familiar. The first time I saw them was with a well known US dealer (possibly Symbolic Motors?) several years ago. A quick google also pulled up two other cars offered from different sources using the same photo set - one from 2011 offering the car for $1.7M, and the second of unknown date offering a car for CHF 1.6M.

All these cars are just taken from other dealers. They are just chancers from the north of England.

I know most of the cars and they have all sold.

Thanks for all of the advice. I spoke to them and they wanted a 250,000 Euro deposit for to view the car, to prevent time wasters ... The 'asking price' was 2m Euro .

Yep, that's them. Very odd conversation on the phone and wanted cash up from (refundable deposit) before seeing the car. Their selection of (fake) cars look v nice.

Crazy to think that something like an M5 has more power than this. Sign of the times of how powerful modern cars are becoming.
