Greetings folks. Looking for any local knowledge, insight and suggestions for a visit to the Norfolk Broads. I'm helping a mate plan a stag do there, looking at around 10-15 people for a weekend in May. Idea is to sail around with pit stops at pubs etc. Any suggestions on the companies to use and which ones to avoid? Cheers

In general the North broads are better for this kind of thing.

Big yds include woods at potter, richardsons at stalham and one at wroxham/hoveton that I can't remember name of.

"Sail" or motor?

For proper sailing you can get a wherry (traditional sailing barge) with skipper and mate - would allow you to do as little or as much as you like and fit you all on. Search for Albion Wherry

Thanks for the replies. Looking at motor ideally but not sure if there any suitably sized boats available.

This, they won't like one of their boats being used by a load of pissed up men
