Finally taken the plunge and bought my first Aston.

She's a V8V Roadster, 2014 model 7 speed sportshift, in meteorite silver. Picking her up in 4 weeks or so and I can't wait!

Hopefully get to know some of you guys and pics will be posted.

Congratulations! Let's hope that the weather is more "Raodster" than "plunge" in four weeks time.

Enjoy!

Here she is at the dealers just after my test drive:

She's a 2014 model 5 months old in meteorite silver with black interior, white stitching. I thought the alloys go with the colour and a little unusual from the other spokes. She doesn't have the 700W sound system but pretty much everything else I would have chosen if I'd bought brand new. However, because she's not new I have a saving of £27,000 in my pocket for upgrades! Does anyone know if a better sound system can be fitted? Also thinking about sports exhaust upgrade. Any advice and price of these would be welcome. Thanks

Looks lovely mate, I hope you get some sunshine soon.
( lose the number plate plinth as well, it neatens the front end and the grille is shown off more, no bad thing ).

My personal plate will be going on. How and where can you get the plinth altered?

She looks absolutely stunning, congratulations. I wouldn't worry about the stereo, best live with it for a while and play with the set-up (bass, treble etc) before thinkiing of tweaking things, you may be surprised at how good it can sound, anyway roof down the roaring V8 beats any audio system hands down thumbup

Looks lovely, hope the weather improves before you pick it up.
Plinth removal is a do your self job it all just unbolts, get a smaller front plate and the front is smartened up a great deal.

Found the thread that describes the plinth removal

Thanks for that sounds easy. Given the better looks it's one of my first jobs when she arrives home.

Congratulations and she looks a lovely car. If the plate will be ready before you pick her up just get the dealer to do it FOC. Sure they will.

Frank, he was joking....please don't do that! There's a great description in the FAQs section at the top of the page. Takes 10 minutes.
