Cameras ready, Northern Lights this weekend.

Hi folks, a quick heads up: there is a good chance of a strong display of the Northern Lights over the next couple of days (14/2 15/2). Weather permitting, it should be visible from parts of the UK and provide some photographic opportunities.

Here's one from March last year from Ballaugh Isle of Man, 54° North. This was a fairly weak storm:

From memory, iso1600 F2.8 25 seconds on a Canon 550D. Wall to wall cloud here at the moment, forecast for snow later but better tomorrow.
