Hi Al,

Was the Griff sage/olive green and digits starting with a 7?

If so I know who's car that is but he may not be aware of what has happened himself yet as it was in a garages care eek

Hope the occupants are OK. If it isn't the owner wouldnt be good for the garage and feel really sorry for the owner - I'd be devastated.

Definition of care? Awful news by the sound.

Hi Bodders, yes certainly sounds like the same car and had contact with the owner...not good...
I'm by no means an expert on body/chassis damage with Tivs but having owned a few I have a fair idea...
looking from the back of the car (following the truck on the road) it was obvious it was damaged and just managed to draw level with it as it turned off at a roundabout and the front looked worse...after I'd driven onwards I wished I'd followed it because there is a large scrapyard(well known with a few branches) which is where I assumed it was going, however I did a quick drive past a couple of hours later and there was no sign of it, so maybe it's gone to a repairers??, although I don't know of a suitable one on the particular trading estate...also thinking about it I wonder why the car wasn't covered over or the plates taken off to at least try and hide the identity??

I'm hoping this isn't as bad as it sounds....

Bodders I've replied to the owner and offered any help I can, please feel free to mail me direct as I think you know where I am and maybe with your connections you might know somewhere local to me that the car may have been taken....

Cheers, Al.

Hi Al,

Sorry my server been down since last night and only just come back on.

James now knows where the car is and what happened and will probably respond on here once his power cut has been fixed.

Gutted for him as it was such a cloud9 example of the Griff.

Not the type of 'spotted' thread anyone wants to read about their P&J cry

Hi Bodders,

Thanks for the response, shame to see such a great Griff in that state, hopefully the outcome will be a positive....

Cheers, Al.
