Which M3?

Michelin Pilot Supersports are regarded as the best Road tyre yet. I assume the Falkens are cheaper?

Based on my experience of the Michelin Supersports, I would expect you'd get 20,000 mile from them driving the car as it is meant. That would probably make them cheaper per mile than the Falkens.

That's a tyre from 2003, too old to put on a car.

My E39 M5 had FK452s with 4 - 5mm of tread fitted to the front when I bought it. On smooth tarmac they were okay, but on bumpy tarmac the car tramlined all over the place, to the point where it was a little frightening to drive at times. I changed to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s and the car is completely different.

They are crap when pressing on, and after the first couple of thousand miles they harden and become noisy.

Why ruin the car?
