Realistic value of my guitars?

Hi all,

I would really really like to get an Ovation 225 guitar, but I could only afford it if the sale price of 2 of my current guitars comes to within £150 of it. The 225 6/12 string retails at £600ish with a case and shipping from America.

The 2 guitars I would logically sell to get it would be my existing 6 and 12 strings - a Yamaha APX 5a acousto-electric, and a McBrown 12-string acoustic.

The yamaha is a high quality, solid and dependable midrange guitar that cost me £350 several years ago, and although played a lot it is in mint condition bar a 3mm dent in the back of the headstock (ie invisible unless you are inspecting the machine head mechanisms). The McBrown is a budget (but apparently still solid-top) guitar that cost me £80 as a trial foray into whether I liked playing with 12 strings.

I've had a brief look on ebay for values, but they seem to be all over the place - plus I would probably sell privately through a friend's music teaching studio given the tales of guitars spending forever on ebay at the minute. So can anyone advise me realistically how much to ask for each?

You're nowhere near the £450 you need I fear. Might get back half the initial price if you're lucky, for reference I had a value put on a USA Tele I was thinking of offloading, not played it that much and was told it would fetch under 500, when they're over 1k new.
