The car runs a 2.1 8v engine with lots of bits, kw v3 suspension, quaife atb, omp cage with extras, bbs rs 9x15 & 8x15, 285mm front brakes with uprated mc and servo, custom stainless exhaust, eibach arb kit, braced everywhere, lots of other stuff

Some close ups of paint when first done, ignore wheels and suspension as they weren't fitted properly or wheels restored.

Engine pic when about 99% finished....

What an absolutely wonderful looking thing; that's fantastic!

I had a (very small) hand in this thing a few years ago:

Very much a fan of the Berg cup look.

Ha ha haven't seen that video in years, that was an epic car.

Yes regarding the Tamiya models, all the new stuff that came out the last few years, the rc version, the small diy one and some non tamiya ones all came off the back of what i was doing with the kamei history of the original race car of 1977 for years of hard work by me and the liason with Uwe a now good friend who owns the Kamei brand.

I am also working on another model though this one is a little more unusual on its usage.

I will be at the Apex Festival next on May 10-11th

I am pushing this event again as i return once more also as the demo group organiser and also sprint demo group.

If you also like Berg-Cup you will kick yourself if you miss this show as i have some cars coming over from the German Berg-Cup hillclimb series along with some other epic cars there inc time attack, ex btcc carS, space framed specials, crazy power builds and specials.

Thats awesome, partly because it's not just another bloody euro style mk1 and mainly because of the immaculate prep AND that it gets used properly.
