Let it blow out some candles by sticking a candle in a muffin near the exhaust and revving it biggrin

Its decatted and smelling rich so I would probably end up with a V8 flamethrower biggrin

It was one of a "pre-production" run apparently Alun. 15 cars sent to main dealers as show cars in early 93'- mine arrived at Henley Heritage where she got her first owner early in March 93'. Check out my profile, there's a link to a blog!

What hasn't it got already?! Honestly if you ever want to sell your's please message me first, I'll pay whatever you're wanting for it! laugh

Well I enjoyed that,
First off Alex who's playing that bass in the video!
Brill, awesome music, funk, my kind of thing.

Well so yours could be the first! The first 15 is pretty out there.
I love stories like that.
I checked out the last Tvr Chim as I wonder where mine sits in the list but there's not much info.
Your sort of driving Tvr history!
Didn't the Chim turn over a nice profit allowing other models to evolve!
She looks fantastic in the pics/vid, nice piano piece, lol

Yep I've done all that work and forgot its a late one( chassis)
I've stood there today and concluded its man art like few modern things could ever be,
Beautiful and I can't help but want to replace the outriggers just so I know there sound!

I'm thinking of body lift so I can get chassis as sharpe as the rest of it.
Work in progress, hobby, can't help myself, obsessive, perfection, want it to last forever,
Still needs brakes, wheels and suspension arms re furbed, its a labour of love. Takes time as I'm poor right now but its the journey not getting there that's half the fun!?!!

I think we both have great cars. Is that V8 badge an add on or did the factory apply it! Impossible to know I suppose.
Truelly great mate.

That is my brother believe it or not! He's very into all that 70s/80s disco!

Yeah I like the idea of driving the first one but I don't think there's an easy way of finding out the true story behind it with the demise of TVR and Henley being a few years back now. She's far from mint in reality but has a relatively new interior, recently refurbed chassis and some other nice touches. Just I eventually want her to be as refined as a modern German equivalent. Just small things like the boot not wanting to lock shut and the door shuts not being right really annoy me!

One day she'll be perfect in reality, not just in the pictures/videos!

The V8 badge I believe was fitted at the factory. Sprayed in the original colour and the paint joins the body as well showing it hadn't been painted and then stuck on, it was stuck on then painted. No evidence of respraying when I cut back the paint on the boot for a respray!
