Am I okay to use a car with xenons to level my lights?

Noticed my own halogen headlights are pointing down a fair bit, am I okay to use a 5 series with xenons and auto leveling as a guide to level mine correctly? I've drawn the line against the garage at the same distance from the door and my lights are much lower. Can I use the line I've drawn to level my own fiat stilo halogen lights?
I ask cause to adjust it's a bumper off job cause of the crap Italian design.

It's the angle of the lights that matters (as the car you might be dazzling is a lot further away than your garage).I ask cause to adjust it's a bumper off job cause of the crap Italian design.
The problem with just comparing the height with another car, is that it'll only give the same angle if both cars have headlights at exactly the same height. I guess you might get away with it if you measure the height of the light source within the headlight for them both, and then aim to get the difference in height of the line on the garage equal to the difference in height of the headlights.

I would recommend caution unless you enjoy annoying every motorist viewing them at night and being blinded. Xenons improperly fitted are like daft noisy exhausts that announce arrival ten minutes before the car appears. A nuisance. One noisy exhaust comes up and down the road by me every night hell of a row. Leave them alone and get a service agent to check them. Beemers xenons are factory fitted, only running halogens in my fiat. My car is a fair bit lower than the 5 series so I have a hunt on YouTube instead,

He's got a car with factory xenons which is fine, and another car with halogens which he thinks are too low. Yes the cut off on the Beemer could be used to set the Fiat cut off but a lot will depend on the relative heights of the two car headlights. As if there is a considerable difference then you'll be doing it again come MOT time.
Personally I'd pop into a local MOT place mid week & get them to check them & give you some idea of how far out they are. Then adjust accordingly. Surely it cannot be bumper off to beam set the headlights???
