We visit Newark regularly and usually use Gannets for lunch, however we want a change. Can anyone suggest anywhere decent please? We have tried Café Bleu, so anywhere other than that.

Not central Newark, but The Boat House in Farndon is owned by the same people as Riverbank which I like.

Lincoln is only up the road and there's loads of great places for lunch there.

You could try the Prince Rupert just round the corner from Gannets - in Stodman street, comes highly recommended for lunches.
