Blue Book List 1A tyres

Can anyone confirm that Yokohama A008 are still in List 1A in 2014
When I go to the MSA WWW I seem to get 2013 Blue Book

Advan Neova AD08 are 1A tyres in the 2014 blue book.

Advan Neova AD08R are 1B tyres in the 2014 blue book.

If you can get some non-R AD08 then you're onto a winner.

Was told they are not making them without the "R" in them anymore, so I reckon if any good used sets appear they might well be quite sought after in 2014.... Or any new ones quite expensive suddenly!!! I was planning to buy a set as I am running in a standard class this year on 195/50/15 1a, have a set of Toyo T1R and new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 to try out.

Is that the A008 as well as the AD08 that is only an R now?

No the old AD08 which is no longer manufactured is still a List 1A tyre, they went out of production in December before the new tyre was launched. unfortuntately for us that use list 1A tyres the AD08R is classified as a list 1B tyre.
