GT3 RS - Mid Lothian

There's a Black RS listed at G. Mac Kays in Mid Lothian, it appears to have been there for a while now.
Anyone know it's history?

Can't give you any insight into the car, but Mackay's are in Edinburgh itself (close to Holy Corner). They've got a good reputation locally and I nearly bought a Cayenne from them last year. During discussions, I found them very open, friendly and helpful to deal with. Only reason I didn't buy the car is that it didn't have xenons.

I liked the look of this as well when it popped up but guess it may have hung around due to the seats and no front lift, does look nice though.

Wrong generation to have "lift"...it's a 7.1RS! Seats are Nomex Fixed Buckets which are spot on for this car. The only option I would prefer to see is the alcantarra steering wheel instead of that smooth leather one, but wouldn't stop me from buying it.

I imagine it looks far better in flesh than pics suggest in that rare colour combo. If still for sale it's also a good price as these have been going for £79k for quite a while at similar mileage.

Dont know if that means its good or bad but if you get it inspected and you want to buy it, you could go in with a cheeky offer and see what they say

Ive seen the car in the flesh but didn't inspect it at all. Sat in it to try the seats. Found the leather steering wheel odd but it did have extended leather so maybe why it was specced with it.

As for George McKay - they seem decent blokes (its family run which I like) and I think they'll be good to deal with if the cars for you. I was looking at a gen2 GT3 but it wasn't for me (non condition related)

I've been interested in this car as looks clean enough. Re-cover the wheel in alcantara and its sorted. It looks like a car I would reserve judgement on until seeing in the flesh might just look better than pics suggest! Concerns me that a 1 owner car is struggling to sell unless we are all missing something.

It looked the dogs bks in the flesh with the exception of the wheels.

Give them a call and see what you can find out. They were very happy to arrange an inspection with Porsche on the GT3 I looked at if things had progressed further.

I think it looks ace to me, and the PCCB's mean those wheels will be a piece of cake to keep clean
