996 C4S parking sensor and reverse lights not working...

Can anyone give me a bit of guidance on my parking sensor not working before I admit defeat and book it into my local specialist, I have a late 2004 996 C4S tip...when I engage resverse there is usually a beep to tell me I Am in reverse gear and then the usual sound as the sensors pick up obstacles nearing the rear of the car. Not only has all this completely stopped, but my reverse lights are not functioning either.....I have checked the bulbs and cleaned the senors, but still nothing...is there a separate fuse for this that may of blown?....I am baffled, any advice would be much appreciated

Does the dash display show the car is in reverse?
