Where to get a new remote?

The missus lost the main/only remote key for her ford fusion while walking the dogs on the beach.
Got a spare basic key, but want to get a new remote - wheres best to get one or is it a 'Ford dealer only' rip off??

Find a local indepedent locksmith,just got a new remote for my vw,supplied and programmed at home for £120 inc VAT.

Local locksmith for sure, but phone main dealer also, as sometimes they are actually cheapest for somethings!
