Hi all, got pointed to the site by a friend of mine who spends a lot of time on here. Thought I would stick up some pictures of my latest car. I get bored with cars very easily and swap and change them a lot, my last four cars have only lasted four weeks. I picked this up two weeks ago, '99 Golf gti 150 turbo. Totally standard apart from the alloys and a forge recirc valve.
When I picked it up
Since then I have fitted some 40mm springs, 12mm rear spacers, a deepdish steering wheel, had the wheels resprayed in a dark anthracite, made a decat and made a backbox for it, need to get some larger pipe for the tailpipe next.
The majority of my other cars have always been quite low on coilovers and not been able to be driven properly, I wanted this to be a good all rounder so that's why I just went for springs. If I keep it long enough I have a few plans lined up, definately needs a remap and 3" downpipe to bring it to life power wise, it could also do with some good tyres on it but only time will tell, I will probably get bored and get rid soon.
