Hi,

Another question about my new 400se.

My front screen has been sealed in.
Is it possible to instal a rubber seal over it??

There are argumetns for and against: originally the screens had a deliberate gap around them and were just bonded on the inside. If you fill the gap with ponge it helps to trap water around the glass which causes it to delaminate (that's why so many are milky around the edges).
That said my car has a rubber T-shaped filler around it and no delamination (well not the last time I looked...).

The SE screen aperture is a few mm smaller than the 350i one and is designed for no seal, just a neat bonding job.
