may be for sale very soon......

High miler but new engine, great chassis with everything sorted.

With several threads running about looking/finding a good one I thought I'd mention this as it's a well known 'good 'un' thats not yet advertised....

Hopefully not breachin any forum rules as I am not the seller and have no financial interest but I believe in connecting people to good cars and 'helped' 7 such individuals find their Chim last year and find it very gratifying...

Regards, Paul.

If it's had a decent engine rebuild sounds like a bargain!

I have test driven Adam's chim yesterday and if it was for me it would now not be for sale headache -this is however a different story
It is a well sorted example with a great sounding, strong engine rebuild and a sorted chassis sensible modifications: 17¨ team dynamic alloys with new toyos, pro tech suspension and an a tornado chip mean it does drive well, too. thumbup
Cosmetically the front conversion looks and works a lot better in the flesh than I thought, and combined with some afterburner rear lights would really look great ( a way a MK 4 chim perhaps should have looked like- had they ever done it).
Adam is a very genuine, great chap who told us a lot about his car and his passion he got it to where it is and sent us out for a test drive without hesitation bow(we got so lost on the way back that he might have been on the phone to the police, however took it with great humour) sorry again for this Adam.

So all in all a great car for a fair price and only a few shiny bits need adding on the inside to make it your personal one ( Adam will sell you a leven dash with it if you want it) and you are sorted. Thanks again Adam and sorry for not buying it

Hi Richard

If i were to sell it then yes £9k is too cheap. It would be more like £10,500 and that price is still too cheap if you ask me. The car is like Triggers Broom, so much has been done on the car over the year and a half Ive had it. But unfortunately because it has 104k on the clock people think that its about to fall apart! If you get passed the mileage anyone will see how much love i have given her (dont tell the wife!)

If it werent for this new beast coming into my life:

I wouldnt be looking to potentially sell my beloved

Oliver came to look at the car with his wife with a view for both of them to use it. However, I think Oliver's wife is more keen on Porsches, dirty word around here I know!biggrin

Yes and we know what problems they have ,they were big changes after the 993 ,the way the were made more of a full production car .

There is a Porsche garage dedicated to repair all the problems the 996 have. I`ve heard the engines have to come out ..

LOADS of boxsters are available at 10k.

Not my cup of tea, I'd take Adams car every time but each to their own.
