10cc, Starship & Lynyrd Skynyrd
Discussion
An enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Drove to Queenstown on Saturday morning from Christchurch (south island NZ) to see all the above in concert at a winery.
Good weather, in that it was overcast and not too hot - 10cc were excellent, Starship were so so, Lynyrd Skynyrd (or rather the remains of them) were also pretty good - finishing up with (what else) but Freebird
The only disappointment was the overpriced wine, 15 quid a bottle! Mrs Caziques refused to drink it - so she had to drive back - another five hours.
Still trying to get my head around how quiet a lot of South Island roads are, even though it's summer there are times you don't see anything else for ten or fifteen minutes.
Don't suppose there were any other PHs there.
Just in case you can't guess, I'm one of the older generation - getting very close to (gulp) sixty
