I'm trying to plan my first trip and got caught-out by how early the Bleu Nord campsite sold out... frown Judging by the BeerMountain guide, I think I'd rather got a pitch on Houx than the other options but hopefully I'll be able to get a spot with PH next time!

Better hurry up then!
Travel Destinations are tweeting that their bookings are way ahead compared to last year's. My guess is this goes for all agencies and ACO too? Will be a bumper crowd, with all plusses and minuses that go with that. Webber + Porsche effect taking place?

But on a more serious note, I've camped there 3 times and enjoyed myself very much.

What 'old stand' could the ACO open?

Maybe they could put one of the ones back on the run down to the forest esses but they were never popular, might mean Tertre Rouge campers would get our telly back though.

OP - get yourself on the PH reserve list, if you haven't already.

Thanks but I've now made a booking with one of the private campsites (White Rabbit Racing) - As it's my first time, I feel more comfortable with a "firm plan" and knowing where I'm going. thumbup

Hopefully, all this means is that Le Mans is getting more popular - meaning a better future for the event and series.

Well done Clivey. All the feedback about WRR I've seen is very positive, so I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Enjoy.

That will only attract the wrong kind of crowd. I prefer a bit less popular, thank you.

So PH'ers like myself shouldn't bother? wink

I understand what you mean about the "wrong crowd", but as long as you don't suddenly see a massive influx of chavs / hooligan types, the behaviour of there should be enough "regulars" to keep them in line. - What I mean is that if one idiot starts doing something unacceptable, hopefully it's the case where there are plenty of people to set them straight.

In general, us car enthusiasts need to convert a few more members of Joe Public so that we can slow the onslaught of BS (legislative etc.) we have to deal with constantly.
