Is it an elusive S4 bonnet, can't make out the slots along the sides but no lumps or scoops? It has got driving lamps and are those sidelights or indicators in the headlamp recesses?

And no roof? You should have kept it to yourself Mike,
It would have been cheaper that way

If really not able to save it, there are already folk on here hunting for parts that are on that one, bonnet rear bumpers, window winder motors, swirl pot, and probably a low mileage speedo !! wink

I need the interior door habdles. My passenger side has broken.

And I could do with a new bonnet arm thingy.

I'd probably buy up the bonnet for a spare too !

What we need is someone with a large garage or barn and a couple of grand to spare.......... Then we could begin a second hand spares market. There again it may be that being stored in the dry, a squib of petrol and a jump battery and you could have a fab "S" to use.

Yes Mike, but bfg needs a V8S bonnet with the big hump in it.
This white? / ivory? S looks too good to break for parts, especially if it's been dry stored all this time. Got to be worth saving, shirley?

It just so happens that I was told on Sunday about an S3 that's been languishing on somebody's drive for at least the last 8 years.
I have contacted the owner and will have a good look over it when convenient for him. He's unsure what he wants to do with it, but it's in a pretty bad state from what I've been told.
I keep you all posted on developments.......

The hump is only for "effect" (or a supercharger) I believe?

So a bonnet, couple of door handles, bonnet arm thingy and some rear bumpers..... long way to go to get 2 grand back!!!

idea Is there anybody out there called Dean who has a large garage or barn and maybe a bit of a yard, who fancies starting up with me in a TVR breaking / second hand spares set-up?

Oh, hang on a minute, we may just have been beaten to it? wink

And a gear knob and a hand brake handle too. Windscreen - that would be nice. Oh and cigarette lighter.

It's still not enough is it ? ?getmecoat

The item in the headlamp recess could be headlamp washers which was a factory option. I hope this picture works showing my friends "S" with this still working option although now enjoying the sunshine in Aus so I imagine not really required.

Is it because because it's silver, Mike thought it was stainless steel & therefore irresistable? wink
