Opinions on Cheap Trackers

Howdy, I found a couple of old threads on this, but as technology like this moves forwards quite fast I thought I would ask again.

Has anyone found cheap trackers to be any good? There are hundreds on ebay from just £30 or so, just wondered if anyone has tried any and found they are ok or complete crap! I expect the problems with them would come after they have been fitted for a few months where they stop responding or something. It's for a lorry, I'd just like to be able to keep an eye on it and see recent history (a day would be enough).
