Hi Guys
The car is due for a service in April, it has developed a fault? when driving though, acceleration, deceleration is absolutely fine.
When moving along particularly in traffic with little throttle and not much load on the engine it does not run smoothly, the engine is smooth but you get that sort of rocking almost as though you are slightly accelerating / decelerating, put your foot down slightly and its absolutely fine, the engine doesn't misfire at all, always starts etc etc
Could it be plugs? or any other suggestions

This isn't going to be the most technical of responses but could it be that rubber air pipe thingy that comes away and needs pushing back in?! scratchchin

Is that the one that you mustn't push on too far you're talking about?

You may need to adjust the throttle position switch a little

Does it idle ok ?

i did notice yesterday that every now and then the idle revs drop down but it never struggles, i gave it a bootful last night and it went to 0-7 bar

just a little info to add. Mine ran very smoothly till I changed the plugs. I left the new ones set at the narrower gap recommended by Yellowshed.
This is really for higher boost applications (as I understand it) so they probably need gapping back to standard.

That's a long way round saying that yes, plugs in my case certainly cause a slight juddering on very slight throttle openings.
