Some guys have all the luck, he gets to play the part of 007 (with all the girls and gadgets) and also free Astons for the rest of his life
Sigh.....
Although he doesn't have anywhere to park them, I could offer my drive as a fallback when he is away filming on location

I read it as he can loan an Aston whenever he likes....its essentially free marketing for Aston for him to be seen driving about in it ....so they just give him use of the fleet cars they have kicking about when the staff are not taking them home at weekends...

..still not a bad perk ..could be better than actually owning one and losing all that cash in depreciation and running costs smile

And I thought (According to some posters) that there was no connection between James Bond and Aston Martin and that all James Bond related number plates looked pathetic....

They're just being contrarians. The Bond/Aston connection is excellent for both brands.

I did notice that Daniel Craig bought his first Aston just after I got mine.
Coincidence? I think not.
I shall be looking forward to the Aston Marketing Depts phone call with offers of loan cars to be 'seen' in.

I don't think anyone has ever said there is no connection, however pretending to be James Bond is extremely pathetic and cringeworthy.

Seeing as he could afford any Aston Martin, or any other car for that matter, that his heart could desire, I doubt he sees it as a particular bonus at all. Buying one would not even put a noticeable dent in his wealth.

Good luck to him though, I suppose at least anytime he wants one, it's clean, prepped, and the most recent model. I bet he doesn't get to personalise the sill plates though!

It crossed my mind that the Bond films aren't a great advert. A coupe of Alfas kept up easily with a DBS in one opening sequence, only 300 brake difference between them.

And then there was the defribulator with the fake plastic Chinese made connector that nearly killed him..

I'm sure he isn't sad enough to drive around with a 007 number plate though.
