car dilema

Hi ,
I have a budget of £4000 tops, Ive been looking at 3 cars ,, Audi TT , Honda civic type r and the seat leon cupra all great cars.
all the ones ive looked at all seem to have high mileage (95k miles plus), is this considered too high for these cars? what would you guys consider high mileage on these cars?
also any preference / issues to look out for?

As with any car, buy on condition and proven history not mileage.
A car that has sat still for half its life and missed services as it's 'too low mileage to need a cam belt' will make you cry in the end. A high miler with a full and comprehensive history that's been cared for is the way to go.

As a bonus, the latter are usually cheaper as people are still scared of mileage

at the moment me and my wife have seen a couple of TT's with 100k plus miles for £3.5k and a civic type r for £3.5k with 95k miles on it would this be classed as expensive? both these cars are from garages
got a mechanic I know who would give it the once over
