Best place to put jammer

Hi all,

Anybody know the best place to mount the various parts of the Snooper SLD920X jammer. Its going on a Ford Mondeo (New shape)?

In the grill near the number plate and make sure they are flat on to the front and level in both directions.

Didnt they come with distructions?

Why would you need a jammer on a Mondeo ?

I have never seen one being driven over the speed limit

Don't forget to put one on the back as well! And if you get flashed by a laser, when you get home make sure you remove it - so the cops don't make a surprise inspection and give you grief.

I don't really see why; lasers get "jammed" by many things other than these devices. A "jam" on a car with such a device may well be a coincidence.

Not been in my neck of the woods then I have looked at fitting my sld to my mondeo but it looks to be a right PITA .

Mount it around the front grill area or the lower grill area. Keep them spaced about a 1m apart & they'll work fine. Horizontal is not critical on the SLD's as they are very sensitive & work well even at 15 degs offline, unlike some others out there.

Oh & your just as likely to be targeted from the rear

Your main problem is getting through the bulkhead of the mondeo , thats why i gave up cos i diddnt want to cut the plugs off the ends of the diffuser heads

Find an existing wiring loom plug hole grommet & go through that cut into it if need & re-seal with silicone goo.

Can a jammer only be used with another speed detection device (i.e. Road Angel) Or can they be bought seperatly, if so then how much are they??

I think some are interfaceable.

Thats ya problem with the mondeo , no spare grommets ! you could try the through the wing route i suppose . only other place is through the main loom grommet behind the fuse box which is behind the glovebox . For this you will need a sturdy metal coat hanger lots of insulation tape and ....... vasaline
