One or two artists I quite like but the rest I haven't a clue about.

No mention of this on the TV section. Quite telling really! I spent a couple of hours shouting at the telly and ranting on Twitter. I feel a bit daft now and thought it was all a bit of waste of my time.

It's a sad indictment of the music scene when nothing scandalous comes out of the Brits - where are the days of the Sam Fox/Mick Fleetwood double act, John Prescott getting doused with the contents of an ice bucket, gurning fat tt Robbie Williams challenging Liam Gallagher to a square go, and Jarvis Cocker puncturing Michael Jackson's pomposity?

Modern music is boring.

Music has been there to shock morals for generations, from Jazz, Rock'n'Roll, the '60, Hippies, Mods, Skins, Punk, various types of Metal (all done to exces), Rave, Acid, drugs etc.

Now we have the X-factor generation and it's boring. Most of the counter culture has become mainstream as well, with everything sanitised and safe.

Most award ceremonies are just a wk fest. The Brits is one of the worst.

agree what has happened to Alex Turner he was a cool witty guy and now it looks like he has been possessed by the ghost of Elvis , his band mates looked embarresed by him..

Why so many Americans pressenting and performing at The Brits ?

David Bowie best male ?? the mans a legend but his output for the year does not compare to Jake Bugg who was robbed of this award

And as for James Corden unfunny cringe worthy performance

I thought Alex Turner's dig at all the st music & so called bands winning Brits was the highlight of the entire proceedings. But I suspect it was way over the heads of most of those present.
