Following my visit to enemy HQ in Crewe the other week, and a test drive in a brand spanking GTC V8S (which had been PDI'd just an hour beforehand) I have ordered myself what will [allegedly] be the first full production GTC V8S Mulliner spec delivered in the UK. Collecting mid March. So, through no fault of its own, the DB9.2 lasted as long as its X6 M50d predecessor - a full 8 months in my hands. Been a blast, but I need to be able to get my trolley *and* clubs in the boot, and still have a pair of knees left every time I squeeze myself in & out of the car. One more bucket list 'tick' achieved though. Fare ye well gentlefolks.

Great summary.

Nightly Bye.

I did the same.... had my DB9 coupe for 9 months before getting rid of it for another M5 and you know what? I missed the DB9 so much a year later I bought another DB9(v this time!) for the weekends so I can have a sensible car and a DB9. You will miss it, strange thing, it's bloody awful compared to an M5, slower, horrible ride, poorly equipped, doesn't handle as well BUT ever so special life isn't the same without one! Nothing makes me smile like the Aston regardless of the above!

And there is me putting 2 golf bags and a trolley in a V8V... That was a major driver behind the coupe etc. If you need something for the future, look at the Max Blade trolley. It's pricey but folds very flat and might be of use to you one day, WHEN you come back!

Enjoy the new car - sounds like something very special.

Ah, the tattoo, sadly is on lower back covering a scar not a crack! That rhymes too. It's Chinese for money ;-)
All my cars are daily drivers; don't see point in weekend warriors when I can drive one 7 days a week and have a permanent smile (or scowl come next month) :-)

Extreme silver metallic with black hood. Colour split 8 interior with linen main hide and beluga black secondary. Piano black veneer. Contrast stitching to seats and dual tone 3 spoke wheel.
+1 on the roof rack - or towbar maybe?! LMAO
I don't like having trolley on the front as I had been doing and scratched the leather by glovebox. I even bought the new smaller motocaddy but same issue. Yes I've seen that blade trolley in clubhousegolf 265 GBP which is ok but is prefer to start using my X7 lithium Stewart trolley again if I can :-)

Not of your golf bats though.

Spec sounds really nice.

Thanks. There are plenty of the obligatory toys too.

Elsewhere on the forum I'm flogging my DB9 winter tyres if anyone's interested? Wife, kids and a golfing habit to support.....

Paddy, I'm a long-standing client of Iain's (Finer Detailing) and he's visiting the dealer to sort things once they've done the mechanical PDI. Thanks anyway :-)
