Speedo stopped working entirely a couple of months ago.

Got the TVR garage to look at it - they replaced the transducer and it now works.

However, under about 20mph the needle just drops to 0, and doesn't pick up again until over 20mph...

Don't think it used to do this, but then never really paid that much attention...???

Do they all do this, or is something still wrong - if so, any ideas..?

Thanks,

Dom

Probably the gap between the sensor and the toothed wheel is a little to big.

Mine is currently doing the same.
Even when the transducer is correctly set and working it will probably do the same/similar at below 10mph.

I will have mine looked at when it next goes in for a service, but frankly it's not worrying me.
After all, when you are doing less than 20 (occasional school and playground zones excepted), you are either accelerating, braking, or begging the guy in front to 'get a fcensoredg move on' smile

One word of caution, mine was 'kindly' adjusted for me, and as it was set a little too close, I ended up having to buy a new one shortly after.

This is the TVR resale value improver system, most have it.

All the miles you cover under 20mph remain unrecorded.

It's the same as the speedo freeze at 100,000 miles system.

Works a treat on resale values wink

Unless you post photos of your frozen speedo on PenisHeads.. hehe
