There's been quite a few mentions that Chris should either be a presenter on or be a replacement for Top Gear. I don't agree myself, but if you were to have your ideal 60 minute TV programme presented by Chris, what segments would you have on it and what cars/guests (if any) would you have for the pilot episode? Maybe if the collective can come up with an agreed format PH could try it once and guage the response?

Likewise, not sure I get the obsession. There does seem to be a Harris cult on PH though. I'm sure I could have a good chat down the pub with him about cars, but I can't see him having enough appeal for me to watch a tv show with him as the front man. You're missing the point. TV is slowly migrating to on-line anyway. From that perspective, CH / Drive is already ahead of the curve.
Comparisons with TG are pointless as Clarkson & Co. are making a 'telly' programme for the masses (and a low-brow one at that), not a facts-based show for car enthusiasts. I do think CH makes for compelling viewing though and has made a very successful transition from automotive scribe to an adept presenter.

t Bucket.The problem with telly these days is you can't swear, offend anyone, show a car going fast, or a million other things that might cause offense to people to pathetic and stupid to be able to just turn off stuff they don't like.
